Finally, a Cybersecurity Framework for Education
Cybersecurity attacks on schools are increasing at an alarming rate, putting school leaders under immense pressure to protect student data and ensure learning isn’t interrupted. Unfortunately, existing cybersecurity standards and supports are complex, costly, and not designed for education.
Recognizing this challenge, a team of concerned education organizations formed the Cybersecurity Coalition for Education and developed the Cybersecurity Rubric (CR) for Education.
The CR is a free self-assessment tool school leaders can use to assess their cybersecurity practices and make significant improvements.
Access the rubric today and take the first step toward a more secure school environment.
Developed by the
Cybersecurity Coalition for Education
The coalition created the Cybersecurity Framework for Education, a unique framework informed by NIST and other relevant cybersecurity and privacy standards, taking into account the specific needs of education. Using the framework, the coalition then developed the Cybersecurity Rubric (CR) for Education—a groundbreaking approach to self-assessing and improving cybersecurity in schools.
